New expectations for 2025 and the second semester of the 2024-2025 school year. There are so many thoughts as the kiddos return from their winter break. Did the kiddos have a wonderful break? Did I get enough rest to start the second semester with gusto?
Completing Sentence Frames
What are the kiddos expecting from me? What am I as their educator expecting from them? Will there be new classroom rules to implement? Will the room arrangement be different?
What are your new expectations?
Due to some kiddos having trouble beginning to express their expectations. I supply some verbs for the sentence frames or prompts i.e. sing, play, write, teach, sit, go, talk, run, look, help, walk, eat, listen, learn, read.
Here are two options to record the kiddos’ responses to the sentence frames or prompts.
With a little encouragement, the kiddos will write their expectations of you and themselves. Some of the responses surprised me. Enjoy the sample of responses.
I expect my teacher…
- to let me play.
- to love me.
- to teach me about pictographs.
- to give me a pie
- to help me.
- like me even if I make a bad choice.
- to help me when it is hard.
My teacher expects me…
- to be good.
- to bring my homework back.
- to learn.

- to do my homework.

- to go home.
- to study.
The product includes a variety of writing paper. The options depending on the writing needs (lines, no lines, sizes) of your kiddos.
