The activities can be used in Literacy Work Stations or as a whole group Social Studies lesson. Enclosed are 2 versions, either 5 words or 12 words, of vocabulary pertaining to George Washington.

At the end of your study of President Washington, have kiddos write facts they have learned about him in each box. Responses could be either phrases or complete sentences.

2 Versions of Recording Sheets Letters for “Washington”
Once the letters are cut out, have kiddos write the corresponding uppercase letter on the back (for “I” and names). Use the “Work Space” to manipulate the letters. Bonus word could be glued in place once the chart is completed. A list of possible words is provided.
